I was told that this bank uses Chex systems, but I didn't know if anyone on here has had any experience with this bank, and if they allow people in chex to open accounts. Any information would be helpful!, Thanks!

I can check again but last time I checked, they do use chexsystems. Most people in that area are using either WoodForest (second chance checking that anyone can get) or TAB since there is a Flying J there, and recently I was told that there is a good credit union there that is lenient called KEMBA financial CU. I am not real sure of that one since I just added it to the list and have had no real feedback on it.

I've heard of Woodforest Bank, but they are only in Walmart and the nearest walmart that has one is about 30 minutes away. TAB I haven't tried I'll check into that. Also, Kemba is pretty good CU and they are pretty generous with credit lines, but I can't use them because my bk has a credit card and an overdrawn checking account with them, and they are who reported me to chex sad.gif

Special Notes It has been reported that this bank does not use chexsystems and that ANYONE can get an account with them. You do not have to live near a Flying J to get an account.

Here is the application for the account. It is best to fax it in for fastest results
https://www.tabbank.com/home/custserv/appli...application.pdf

For a business account, you use a different application and all you do is send that in with articles of organization and you are all set.
I do have a copy of this application if needed, email me at mca1895@wikianswers.com or contact TAB directly for it.

After 3 months of good account history, you are then eligible for remote deposits from home. They will not accept money orders but that is typical. They call it express deposit. If its done before 3 pm its credited the same day.

What is a fraud advisory…

This would be a report that we pull to get a beacon score from to qualify you for the account. It is basically a soft hit on your credit bureau but, it won't effect your score.

Yea I actually am it's about a 10 to 15 minute drive from me. So I'll have to check them out. Thank you for information on TAB, the nearest flying J to me is about a 45 minute drive, but it's an option if I need to take it. Telhio is an option for me as well, I have one abut 5 minutes away. I have to get rid of some fraud accounts on my CR first (they were from a stolen check book) I tried opening one before and they said that once I get those removed they would be able to open an account for me. So I'm thinking Telhio or Fidelity most likely. I have a national city account but I'm afraid once PNC takes over they will close it. I'm not fimiliar with PNC.

it has been reported that Regions Bank is not using chexsystems. I have not been able to officially verify this but thought it might be one to consider there as well.
