Why didn't I work on my med collections earlier?

Two weeks ago, I sent the pre-HIPPA letter to the CRA's using the new language that WhyChat suggested. EX was returned to me as I apparently had not addressed it to the right address. I haven't heard anything from EQ.

But within a week, both accounts were removed from TU. Even though I knew last week that they weren't reporting on TU because I do daily CCT pulls, I received the letter today from TU that they were deleted.

There should be a sticky so everyone who has success with the pre-HIPPA (or any of WhyChat's med process) can post yet another thanks to him for his amazing system. Then on days when he's had enough, he can go read praises about himself and get a little boost.

I also just had 3 med collections deleted off TU in response to the Pre-HIPAA letter!!! And it was quick....less than 2 weeks =) Yippy!!!!!

Add me to the list. I just received my letter from Equifax about 10 minutes ago. One of the TLs was deleted! (One stayed on, but it is a "legitimate" item - the one that got kicked off was totally bogus, so I'm happy!)

The "bogus" item was also deleted from TransUnion. (It wasn't deleted from Experian, which is odd... but I'll address that in another thread.)
