I have recently discovered that I can dispute the information reported on my chexsystems report. I am looking at my husband's report right now & he has a checking account from Well's Fargo (overdrawn) which is listed as sold but then RJM accquisitions, a CA is also listed on the report for the same debt. That seems wrong to me but I am not sure if they are allowed to do that. I am curious if I can use that in my dispute letter when I mail it. I have been working on our credit for a while but I am new to chexsystems so any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Only one can show on the report for the same debt. Yes, you can dispute based on that but there is a good chance that they would just remove one and leave the other. What else does the report say? you may want to dispute based on other factors as well. www.chexsystemsdisputes.com
