About 9 years ago I got loan from Well Fargo for about 12k. I was the co signer with my step father. He filled bankruptcy after my mom and him divorced. This put the loan on hold so to speak as they could not contact me for payment. Being young I didn't care and let it go. A few years ago I started to care and got my CR. I found them reporting that I was paying 1200/month for 240 months with a balance of about 5k. That makes no sense. When I contacted them I was told they could not help me because of the bankruptcye. I contacted Transunion and disputed it but the confirmed they were repoting correctly and I got a letter from Well Fargo stating the same. I let it go then, but a year later I wanted to buy a house so I tried to addres this again and was told the same thing. I got the house loan but now I need another loan for home improvements but they are still reporting the incorrect terms. I contacted Wells Fargo however they are telling me they don't have me in their system. I disputed it again with Transunion but Well Fargo confirmed it was correct again and sent me yet another letter and when I call the number they are again telling me they cannot help me because i do not have the account number and my ssn is not in their system. I am using the number listed on my CR. What can I do about this? Isn't it illegal for them to report the incorrect terms for the loan?
