Visa told the tax collector to stop doing a surcharge but still allows the utilities. I thought government was allowed to do a surcharge. They all really use third parties to processor the payment.

If Visa is right, they can not take take Mastercard either.

I don't think you are getting my point George. I mean why can the Gas company charge $4.00 fee for using a 3rd party but the tax collector can not You even said government agencies and utilities are allowed to do a surcharge. Why didnt visa allow the Tax collector to have the surcharge, since it is a government agencies. I say Visa is in the wrong this time.

I DON'T WANT TO PAY A FEE FOR ANY COMPANY...be it the government or a utility
