Yup, GMAC Bank just rebranded themselves to get away from the parent company which no longer has a controlling stake.

I was denied for their 2.25% interest savings account. They softpull Equifax and base approval on their Beacon score. I was informed that they softpull for checking and savings; they do no credit checks for CDs.
