From what I can tell, my TU report has not changed since I successfully rehabbed my SL.
I have a Direct Loan TL for the FULL amount of both loans and 2 US Dept of Education TLs, one for EACH loan.
All 3 are still reporting in the negative section. The 2 US Dept of Education TLs still show "placed for collection".
On Experian, the US DOE TL moved FROM the negative section TO the positive section and went FROM showing "collection account" TO "open/never late".
So, shouldn't the 2 US DOE TLs on TU be in the positive section, reporting "open/never late" like it is on EX?
If so, should I send TU a copy of the letter that I received from Direct Loans stating that they notified the CRAs that the account was rehabbed?

How did you get your CR? directly from the CRAs or a 3rd party? That will make a big difference. How long since you finished the rehab?

It's a hard copy directly from TU.
I made my last payment 12/29/08.

I don't know but how about trying to contact the CA who you dealt with about the rehab. Ask them why the CR have not updated yet

I ordered my TU report over the weekend and received it today.
The 2 US Dept of Ed tradelines are gone. I guess TU had not sent the update when I received my report in February.
Thanks for responding to my post.

So purple what stayed and what went away from the CR..what was all there to begin with?

The Direct Loan TL stayed. It includes both loans.
The 2 US of DOE TLs, one for each loan, were deleted.
I wonder why they did not just turn those 2 into positive TLs instead of deleting them. I wished that they would have just updated them to show paid as agreed/never late, which is what EX did. I basically lost all the history that went with the TL, in addition to not getting 2 more positives.
