My Sallie Mae student loan account is my oldest TL, & I would like very much for it to appear on EX, since it appears on EQ & TU. I have been fighting for 6 months, here is the latest letter from Sallie Mae:


"We submitted an update to Experian, reporting that your loan was closed as of March 3, 2006.

Unfortunately, once a credit bureau deletes a tradeline, it cannot be updated.

You will need to contact Experian directly."


Any ideas for a letter to EX? I know creditors are not required to report, but what are my options when a CB deletes a positive TL early?

Not sure exactly how to word the letter but I would definitely contact the CRA. My Sallie Mae loans (paid off tonight, in fact) definitely report to all three. Regions, the original lender, also reported to all three.
