I have 1 big baddie on my CR and that's for an old Student Loan.

Well this year they garnished all of my federal tax refund. I called ECMC and spoke to a really nice rep on the phone and found out they were garnishing my paycheck since December. (I don't get a check stub so I never knew) And all that's left on my Student loan is $598 lol. Well anyways the person I was working with said that I could rehab it however I had to have more than $500 left on the loan by the time the rehab is done.

I get paid weekly and the pay this week would have put me under $500, I was 2 hours from my paycheck being submitted to corp. I managed to get my ECMC rep to talk to my garnishment admin with the company that I work for, and we got it suspended.

I pay $5/mo for the next 9 months lol then I'll just pay it off once the negative default is off my report.

I have to say ECMC is really a good company. They were working with me in getting this caught up and negative information removed. My only wish is that I did this a long time ago, before they took money out of my check.

It wont fly....minimum payment on a rehab is $50/month. Plus there are almost no lenders rehabbing right now.

hmm she said she wasn't sure if the system would let her go that low... But it did, I've got the paperwork signed and a copy of it... I guess we'll see in about 9 months. No biggie if it doesn't go through, I'm not in any worse position than I'm in now.
