hey newbie here,



ok this is wuts goin on, my mom has a college loan baddie on her report for almost $4,000, ive tried disputing this ugly little character twice but he jus wont come off , so can ne one explain in detail how to resolve this little booger in a different matter?

do i keep on trying to dispute? or is there another thread on the board that deals with college loans? if so plz direct me there with the link

There's an entire forum for student loan issues. We'll need more information to help you. How it is reporting? What's the status of the loan? Is it paid? In default? Is it a federal loan or a private loan?

Was this a SL loan for community college or vocational?

If so, the school will NEVER release the transcript---ever... until they're satisfied.

That depends on they type of loan and to whom the money is owed (Perkins or institutional loan vs. something like a Stafford loan, etc.). The OP hasn't provided enough information for you, or anyone, to start making claims like that.

its reporting as an educational loan, the pay status shows current, but on the lower part of her report it shows the account was closed, so im not understanding that, n the account was opened 6-16-04, but shows that all of this reported 6-10-07,

i hope i gave you enuf information, but on truecredit how do i find out if its a federal or private loan?

i think its a community college,uummm yea, i knew about them not releasing the transcript or whatever, but its just really confusing understanding how her files are reporting.

also. i already disputed some other baddies off of her profile was successful with doin that, but i disputed with the cra's and they deleted them, do you think i should try disputing with the CA who withholds the debt?

Type of loan? Private, federal or institutional.

Who is reporting?

Did she pay on this loan? Is it paid off? Did she default on it??
