I started esthetician school and am 80% through but have one course that i would like to take at a differant school becasue of hands on that they offer. SallieMae has sent the school I am at now the full tuittion. How do I get the money from the school for the course I am not taking with them and get it to the school where I want to finish that course. Does the money go back to SallieMae, which would be a nightmare if it is the same trouble as the first time or can the school cut me the check, anyone know how it works.

You dont. You have to apply for new funding thru salliemae for the new school. However if it is just for one class, you may not qualify for aid.

You are probably way past the drop date of your program to be due any refund so there is probably no money left to refund. You would more than likely not be due a refund for a class within a particular set program.
