ok so i got my letter of garnishment. and they actually give me some options. i can make voluntary payment arrangements for 15%. i can also request a hearing or i can call the collection agency to make payment arrangements on what they agree on. right now im filling out this hearing form with all my expenses. i live with my girlfriend and her 2 kids. but my girl only works part time since they cut her work hours. on the form they want her ssn- which i dont feel comfortable giving out. i am hoping to get it reduced from 15% to at least 10%. i already am paying one student loan with grc collection agency. im in rehab with them. thats $105 a month.

I'm no expert on this I'm learning like everyone else, but as someone that has a garnishment being taken out every paycheck plus paying every month as part of my rehab you do not want them taking the money. It sucks. I begged and pleaded but once they get the garnishment order, they don't want to give it up for nothing..
