I have been searching high and low, on this site as well as Why Chat's site for Texas SOL for medical collections. I know regular accounts are 4 years but are the same for medical?

It depends.

The regular SOL in ALL States for medical accounts is 4 years under the UCC ( uniform commercial code- goods and services) except in those States which have a shorter 3 year SOL.

However, if this is a hospital or clinic or ambulance service bill and you are sued by the OC ( original creditor health care provider), you will not be able to use a SOL defense if it is your ONLY defense as they are supported by tax$$ reimbursements of "no-pays".
