I filled out the 20+ page application.
In order to get paid a couple has to choose you.
And
there isn't a high demand for black eggs in Alabama.
That made me giggle.

The truth always is funny, I suppose.
Majority of the couples who are seeking eggs are asking for people who represent who they are ethnically and religiously.
The most prominent examples of this I've seen are people wanting eggs of Jewish, whites and east Asian females.
There's nothing wrong with egg donation, though, since my family has been doing foster care and adoption for some years and it's really changed my life and the lives of the kids who've been with us (I hope for the better!), it really makes me wish more people would look toward foster care-to-permanent adoption. It's a little bit more work, since so many of the young babies to young teens have medical or emotional issues that need addressing.
But there are plenty of infants and toddlers out there, if people are looking for younger babies. I know that the bond isn't the same for a lot of folks, but I can honestly say that I have blood family and they irk the **** out of me just like my non. And I love all of my family, whether or not the redheads are actually born of my uncles.
