Hello to all!! I just wanted to post my success story as to let others know the steps that I took to achieve this. I was on chexsystems due to no fault of my own, and I looked on the Creditboards site for help. Someone advised that I check at Peoples Bank in Texas. After filling out their online application and sending them $30.00 for the initial deposit, I had a new checking account in 7 days. Since I live in California I then needed to find a way to negotiate my paychecks; I first tried Pay Pal which I found to take entirely too long to transfer my money to my new checking account (about 7 days). I then found Wescom credit union and was able to open a savings account online and then I went to a branch to fund the account. Much to my surprise, I was able to put my paycheck into the savings account and then transfer the funds via an institution to institution transfer and the funds were available to me the next morning!!!! Thank you to all who post the much needed information.
