Oh, this question is easy

By far the best topic on CB is PsychDoc's Seminars.
These seminars are CB's "BSCR" (Bachelor of Science in Credit Repair

). They lit the light bulb over my head and were the NUMBER ONE reason for me being able to delete over 45 baddies from my reports including a Foreclosure TL from 2 different mortgage companies.
The seminars should be "required reading" for all newbies and is an essential class for graduating from newbie school.

My favorite topic on CB is simply how to dispute the negative items on your credit reports. I was able to go from 550 FAKO's to 680 in just a few months at 2 burueaus but removing negative IIB accounts.

The topics I have liked the best so far are those that revolve around credit deals such as 0% BT or FICO discounts.

There's so many favorites to choose from!
I would say "Psychoc's Seminars" has been the most helpful.
http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=152541It gave me the "AH-HAH!" moment I was looking for.

BTW, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CB!

My favorite topic and the one that helped me the most is any thread on the 1-2 punch which is what helped me to get all baddies deleted.
I also loved the Psych Dpc transcripts but I consider that more than just one topic.
Can't believe I have been on this board for 4 of the 6 years! Happy Birthday, CBs!

Hard to choose, but here are the top two:
Federal, legal stuff: FDCPA, FCRA, etc.

Any topic that will show and guide this smart old man into correcting the mistakes and ignorance of that young dumb boy. (the boy grew up)
Happy B-day Creditboards! It's great to have this contest for all the non-football-watching folks today.
Favorite topic is about people facing BK because of big-time medical bills. Helping folks realize that it is a great relief to have a fresh start and start over, it's our legal right and is not shameful.

The "where not to use your shiney new credit card" thread. It's the easiest one in the world to search for when I want it because of the misspelling of shiny.

But that's not why I love it - it's just one of those super-useful informational threads that make me think about the use of credit in a whole new way.

I have to say I love the threads where people complain about there in-laws (aka out-laws). I also love the crazy neighbors drama!!! Just like reality TV - but not.
I have a special place in my heart for WhyChat and Pryan because without there guidance and advice 3 yrs ago when my FICO was tanked at
509 with
over 30 baddies on each report. I thought my tiny world was coming to an end - today I just
closed on my first house, paid cash, average score 750, got married (to someone with no debt and good credit) and live debt free! Oh what a feeling.
CREDITBOARDS I JUST CAN QUIT YOU!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!!

I have to go with Junami, too.
It was before my time, but I've been sucked into that thread two or three times, and it's always a mega-time-waster.
Who doesn't love a good tragedy?
AMEX threads, too.
If I had to narrow it down to only one, so difficult, I would have to say Dixie's guide to surviving and winning lawsuits. When the average person is facing a suit, mainly for the first time, it is can be nerve wracking and a person can feel overwhelmed, powerless and alone.
Dixiedrifter has done an excellent job in that thread to help a person feel more empowered. Also a nod to the others that give their time in that forum, such as Why Chat, Hoapres and others.
The runner ups...
Anything by Why Chat, PsychDoc's Seminars and Junami (where I also received my best CL that is still going strong and growing)

My favorite topic is any and all regarding American Express. Just the mention or posting rather of the acronym
"AMEX" emits a firestorm of fury and frustration for some.
I remember not too long ago that it was Crap1 that use to irritate a few here including myself back when they were mostly subprime.
Happy Birthday CB!!! Thanks for helping me turn my life around!!!

When everyone here help me through the difficult BK period, losing my home, ect... I had back in 2005. Plus, all the help I received with my daughter and all my problems I have had and still having.
Without CB I'd probably be six feet under by now. CD literally saved my life from the deep despair of BK and depression.
I'm doing better now and I thank everyone here at CB.

T'was indeed a CB classic, that one.
For my own answer, I'd vote for LadynRed's pinned thread in the BK forum on post-BK reporting...that one has been a big help.
I also fondly remember certain GF classics such as hlburi's "Abort! Abort!" carwash mishap, and the various Chubroach threads. Then there was the OC-vs-Caramel Pinay verbal showdown...that one had me laughing out loud...at work.

I'd like to sound like a grown up, and say something profound about PsychDoc's seminars, but...
MrsDrt wins.
