Well, if you're adventurous and you can't really part with that $40-$80 but still want personal finance software where it can update your bank information online, projection reports, etc. there are alternatives.
KMyMoney is a Microsoft Money alternative that's actually fairly easy to use.

You can create an infinite level of accounts to categorize your expenses. It has every auto-typing feature similar to MSMoney so you can rapidly reconcile your accounts: checking, savings, brokerage, mortgage, etc.
Retail price: $0 You do need Linux however, to run it.
