Full Version: Opening a checking account low credit score

Close friend was denied today from opening an account with Bank of America in person because her score needed to be a "little higher." She is not in chexsystems.

are there other national banks that she can try that don't check credit scores, like Wachovia or Citibank? Also, can she try BOA online tomorrow or is that too soon? Thanks for your input.

bofa usally does'nt pull credit in person..just chex. they will if you do a internet app though.
