I got a forebearance today. Next payment not due until May 2005.

Can I still make payments to Sallie Mae during this period?

If I make payments will that kill my forebearance?

Well I can reply to this topic. You can pay on your loan while you are in forbearance. It doesn't nullify it or deem it void, and it helps in the long run. Any amount that you can pay would be good. You might want to concentrate on the interest.
