Hi Everyone,

I faxed ChexSystems an investigation letter about 3 months ago. They received it and sent me a letter stating that they were going to investigate. I never heard ANYTHING else from them. Applied for a checking account at a CU today and was denied due to 'information contained in my ChexSystems report.' Should I move forward with an ITS for failure to investigate?

yes I would ..who is the bank?

Bank of America. I tried to contact BofA, but they said that the account doesn't exist. When they tried to pull up the information it said account not found. That was their regular customer service though.

What is Chex fax?

I would definitely dispute with chexsystems but I would also send in a letter to the following .. explain your situation and how you do not owe any money. How this situation is restricting your banking abilities etc
