Had an account with WAMU about 5 yrs ago (on credit report) closed due to NSF (I THINK).
How can I get this taken off CHEX since they have been taken over by Chase (whom I have a good account with)?

It doesn't matter if Chase has now taken over WAMU, it just transfers over. remember chexsystems is a credit reporting agency. As longas they report accurate information, they don't have to remove you. If the report is 5 years old then chexsystems will remove. You would need to make sure it is indeed 5 years old and if so, send in a letter to request that they remove you. Send the letter to chexsystems, not the bank
