Full Version: That student loan, so hard to shake
This is a story that will get bigger in the next two years believe it or not. I do believe that both the lenders and the borrowers are to blame, just like the mortgage crisis.
Money or Credit, was just to easy to obtain. Unfortunately, the new crop of students will pay the price for the excesses of the latest round of problems.

if it was not for being able to take out student loans my spouse and I would not be able to have the jobs we hold (very specialized advanced degrees)
I suppose it would be better if only rich people go to college.

OT but it reminded me of Suze Orman. She says if youre starting to go under and are contemplating bk take out a HELOC or put your student loans on CCs so you can get rid of them in your bankruptcy.
