Hello,
I have MULTIPLE checking accounts to earn bonuses that was offered ( Free Money, Rewards ) so on so fourth.
Before anyone asks, I reported all free money as interest as required by IRS on 1099.
I always meet the requirements of the account and I have never had any issues with any bank.
I've had one or two NSF's but I always call the bank the next day and explain the reason and they always refund me back both times due to a transfer from Etrade to my savings account. PNC says no problem and refunds it back.
I have never overdrawn on anything except NSF on those 2 Etrade transfers.
Am I asking for trouble for having a lot of accounts or what?
BTW, is there a way I can view my Chexsystems report online?

No you can not review your report online , you need to go to www.chexhelp.com to get a free copy of your report sent to you. Generally you will have it in a few weeks

As far as having too many accounts, chexsystems will sometimes flag your report as possible fraud activity if you open too many deposit accounts in a certain period of time. So in that sense yes it can be a problem. Many people have problems keeping track of too many accounts but I am sure that everyone is different and you may have no problems at all
