Received my report and I of course know I already owe BofA and USBank from a couple years ago. I would like to pay them, maybe get them to delete the negative, if possible.

I read about people "disputing" but why dispute if it is actually mine?

You might want to dispute if the information in the system is inaccurate. Accurate information is important. It's easier to correct inaccuracies as they arise rather than tackle inaccuracies that have piled up. Waiting to dispute inaccuracies after they pile up also causes one to look at the question begged and ask "Why are you disputing now, if you knew this info was wrong 5 months or 5 years ago, why didn't you dispute it then?"

If all the information is accurate and you have no disagreement/issue with what is reporting, then I don't know why you would dispute.

Paying off the debt to the banks will not remove you from chexsystems, If you are wanting to pay for deletion, make sure you get something in writing. They will lie and say they will remove but it never happens.

It is your right to dispute regardless of the debt being valid or not. It is not a question f knowing the debt is valid or not, it is making them prove that it is. Many have been able to be removed with this process even though the debt was theirs and the information reported was correct.

Good luck with that. Bank of A. doesn't want to even talk to me.

Anyone have any info on paying for deletion with Us bank or wells fargo?

I don't have any specific information on those banks, but if you are going to pay for deletion, make sure you get something in writing
