hi guys....I really need some help and this situation is depressing me.

I recently found out I am in chexsystems for 2 bank accounts.

1. Bank of America and it says account abuse. My acct did go overdrawn and I want to pay it off and have it removed from chexsystems. How can I accomplish this? I sent a letter to a bank branch on how to take care of this acct but never ever heard back from them.

2. Suntrust - I HATE this bank with a passion. I had a joint acct with someone, there was fraud from an online company. We closed the acct like the branch told us to and I opened a new acct with them which i still have. Chex said I owed $66, I disputed this and I get a letter from chex saying that it was incorrect and it is now $90. I HATE suntrust sooooo much. I want to just pay this off and have it removed from chex and then leave suntrust FOREVER.

Please someone give me some advice on what I should do now!!

Hi hopeful.... First off, paying the debt you owe to these banks will not remove you from chexsystems. Have you asked Suntrust why in the world they would have reported you to chexsystems? Ask them to remove it. You can definitely file a dispute with both chexsystems and the banks. How old are your reports? ANd do you have a recent copy of your chexsystems report? I would definitely get a free copy if you do not.
