Does anyone have a contact number for Chex that a human answers ???

How long does it take for your report to arrive after ordering online ??

Some people have said to be able to get through...

This is an old post from a while back that a member had posted.


The number is (800) 513-7125 and after you choose the option to hear the message in english, press option #7 and you WILL be connected to a live person. After you hit #7, you get a long message pertaining to if you have your report on hand, it then sounds like you might have been disconected, but you aren't, it rings and then you are connected. Hope it helps you!

I tried to open a membership in another CU and they are denying based on CHEX. I haven't bounced or abused (overdraft) in over 10 years.

Could this have something to do with inquiries ??? Have you heard of this ?

I have joined 8-9 banks/cu's in the last 4 months and had no problem until now.

I guess my report comes via snail mail ? Do you know how long it takes, I have a credit app that expires in 2 and 1/2 weeks with them.

Yes, it could be the inquiries, too many inquiries to chexsystems can cause a red flag so to speak and they will start denying you. Most people have their report within a week.

And yes, it does sound like you get hung up on...but you don't!
