I need your help with regards to my BofA status on Chexsystems. I was overdrawn big time on 2 accts after I lost my job and just didnt have funds to get staight. THey closed and now are reporting me.
The kicker is that they are reporing "Suspected Fraud Activity" as to the reason. The only thing I did was stay overdrawn on my acct. I even called the Risk Dept at BofA and was told by a representative that they report ANY acct that is overdrawn as Suspected Fraud but once I paid it, I could call and have it removed completely from Chexsystems. I was so dumbfounded that i forgot to get a fax number to send them a letter to have them send me something in writing stating this information. How do I correct? I want to have a major bank due to fact i have family in other cities and this is how we bank to help each other. IWe deposit cash when one of us is in trouble vs having to deal with the mail and then going to deposit it. f I need or they need it is a plus with being a BoA customer. I dont mind paying them but I want Chexsystems to be updated with correct info. Also, I am in collections with NCO Financials due to this and it is reporting on ALL 3 bureaus.
Plz help!

Chances are they will not remove you. What state are you in? Do you still owe them money? You can always file a dispute with both chexsystems and the Bank of America ...you may also want to call or write the CEO of BOA and tell them that you should have been removed and were not.

I am working out a payment agreement to settle the acct. It is actually with NCO Financial. They offered a settlement but I dont have funds to settle so I am just sending something for now. Once I get back to work this next month then I will go ahead and settle with acct with them for a PFD on my credit reports. I will then call BofA to see if they will remove once paid.

If I were to apply again online with BofA, will they open an acct automatically then close it later if they see I had an old acct. I should have the old acct paid in about 2 months max....
