Has anyone ever gotten a CA to delete their account in exchange for payment arrangements that satisfy the debt? I read about this in a credit repair book and have thought about doing this for medical accounts that are mine but are too much for me to pay in full at once.

Any advice is appreciated.

Don't deal with the CA at all, if this is a larger medical expense and it is truly a valid debt, and the CA and original medical provider have a "relationships." Then the Pre HIPPA dispute will tell you that.
You would be better off, setting up a saving account and making payments to that until you can pay the OC (original medical provider) in full and directly.
I did this with a medical collection I could afford to pay in full with the HIPPA process.
With any medical collection reporting to your CR, start with the steps above.
DON'T Communicate with the CA.
I will post a link that explains the entire process.

This is the whole process that takes you to why chat's web page.
It can be confusing, ask questions if you have any.
