Ok, I'm new on here and I couldn't find anything similar to my situation to find an answer.

I have lates on my credit reports from Sallie Mae for January & February of 2006. Thing is, I was in school at the time and they were supposed to be in deferment. There's 5 loans and I've disputed them all for the lates on TU and Exp. (They're all positive with no lates on Equifax) They all remained negative on TU and 3 went back to positive on Experian and 2 did not. It stated they would remain the same and go back to positive in 2012 (or something like that). How's this possible? I disputed them again today. Would it be productive to call tomorrow and get through to someone physically to possibly correct this? Or am I wasting my time?

Have you spoken with the school? I had the same thing happen to me they were fixed. My loans were through Sallie Mae also... I just called them up, was very very nice, cried a little and BAM! fixed. smile.gif

Have you sent proof to the CRAs that they should have been in deferment therefor couldnt be late?

Just running ideas by....

I called Sallie Mae, turns out they had proof of my enrollment on file. They just asked me to fax copies of my report over with the accounts reporting wrong. They sent me one of those encrypted emails 2 days later saying they sent the correct info and to give the CRA's 5 weeks to update it.

Thanks for responding Bree!
