I had a major back surgery in the fall of 06 and my insurance didn't pick up the bill for the anesthesiologist, who then after some time turned my bill over to collections for the amount of 200 dollars.

Should I/Can I DV them?

Why didn't your insurance pay the anesthesiologist?? Was it a denied claim?? Or did the Dr. not properly bill your insurance.
Get a WRITTEN statement from your insurance Co. as to the reason they didn't pay. ( Or perhaps they did and you weren't aware of it)

Opt out, send the medical dispute letter to the CRA's where it is reporting.
