I just chcked my status and its says there is a deay in processing. It gives me a reference code of 1647. Anyone know what that is or what has been the outcome of anyone with a delay in process message?

My last two are 55 and my step dad's are 54. We are both scheduled to get paper checks, and we both are getting the error messages. We haven't received a letter in the mail telling us what/when we are getting either. We live in Florida in separate households.

Didn't get mine yet but they were more than happy to cashed in my check!

They still don't have any info for me - filed/paid electronically early April.

Just a little update...I got the "letter" in the mail today...the one that says I am getting the check. Funny enough is says that the amount shown ($1800) is before they take out for the taxes I owed this year. And even funnier is that I actually got a BILL today from the IRS telling me that I owe them. LOL Uh yeah, they took it out of the stimulus check already. Gotta love our government.

Ditto here. I even signed up for their automatic payment plan and was supposed to start paying on the taxes I owe for this year this month.

Guess that won't happen. After they take out what we owe them, we are getting back a paltry $170.

Pisses me off that they would do that, but what can we do?

That stinks. I mean at least it is paid though! Saves you monthly money. I am still getting $1085 back. It amazes me even more that this was the first year ever that I owed taxes and it happens to be the year that instead of paying the government I actually still get a check from them. I am actually very happy.

My last 2 are 48 and the on line still gives the error message but the 800 number since Sunday now says the payment is scheduled, it also said that I should be receiving the letter any day for the amount I will be getting etc..
One of my co workers- his last 2 are 98 and he got his letter over a week ago saying this week he will be receiving his check!? Who knows what they are doing, it makes no sense

I got that message, but every time I call it says the lines are too busy and to try again later.

Finally getting letters from the IRS saying they have applied it to this year, and this year etc. At least I know its getting paid finally.

Nothing here yet. I've been out of town for about a week, at least I stayed occupied and didn't think about our check and its whereabouts.

I got mine in early May and ended up spending it to purchase gas for the month. Isn't that exciting.

Has anyone with higher numbers gotten their second notice? Or have been able to, finally, get an update from irs.gov?

We don't have "high" numbers but we did get a second notice the other day. We finally got something other than the error message about a week and a half ago saying 6/6 was our date and our letter said we should receive it by 6/6 so we'll see if it actually shows by tomorrow! I'm not holding my breath or anything . Our number is 27 by the way.

i will tell u my letter said I would receive it 5/30 well it wasnt mailed until 5/30 got it 6/3 ...so I would say expect your check to mail on the date of the letter

If I remember correctly some were coming from Phila. and I'm close so I figured by Sat. if not Mon. but like I've said before, as long as it's here before vacation on the 21st I'll be pleased with that extra bonus

Finallyy I see more than the error message on the website! My last digits are 55 and according to the website, my payment is scheduled to be issued on 6/13. My stepdad's last two are 54 and according to the website,his payment is scheduled to be issued on 6/20.

Still no updates for us. Although I heard a rumor that the IRS would be processing these checks a lot faster now that the majority of tax returns have been processed.

I'm in the 7's - have gotten squat for information. No letter, nothing online, nothing on the phone.

I owed and paid electronically - they had their money in 24 hours; it's been 2 months to the day for me, and counting.

I'm in the same boat as you cb_opus. I filed, though sent them a check, but it's been well over two months now. I end in 02 and I haven't gotten anything either. I keep getting the error message when I check the site, and haven't gotten anything in the mail either.

I received the check today in the mail. Of course it wasn't for the $1085 I thought it would be. It was for $542. I guess they did take out half of it for hubby's back child support. On the bright side of it all I got another check from Verizon for the deposit I gave them a year ago. I was able to deposit $989 today...so I went and ordered the carpet for my living room!!!

Got letter last week. Received check today

FINALLY something different on the website! For a month it's been saying "We're sorry - we have no information available on your stimulus payment." Today it says, "We're sorry -- we CANNOT TELL YOU the status of your stimulus payment." It gives me a code and a phone number to call. I imagine the code means "Ha ha Guess what - you ain't gettin it."

Still nothing for us. And we're moving in 3 weeks, so I hope the check gets forwarded.

Finally!!!! I got the message, $1,200.00 expected to mail out June 20th. I really hate that "expected" notation, but now I have hope!

We owed on 2007 return, paid by check on April 17th. Last 2 digits of SSN are 22.
We got the letter notifying us about the stimulus check (around May 20th) that the check was scheduled to be issued on May 30th. We got the check on Jun 2nd.

SIL got their check today, along with the letter stating it would be sent out on June 6th. Last 2 are 30.

Last 55, still waiting, website shows nothing... owed this year, filed april 15th, they have my bank info. *sigh*

None here. The website has been giving me a blank screen when I hit "submit" for the last couple days...not even an error message. Grr! We're 73 & 74.

I was getting that too. I just waited a few hours then checked again, and it worked fine. As it gave me the usual "we sorry..." message. I expect the IRS won't update our info for a couple more weeks.

So I changed my address w/IRS over the phone today. The Rep said since I called early enough, I didn't need to send in the change of addy form. I think I will anyway. It turns out we're moving the same week our check is due to be processed, and with the way mail is forwarded, I didn't want to wait until Aug. to see our money.

64 here, got nothing yet, I owed in taxes and filed before the 15th and the feds already cashed my check

My boss got her's today, her last two numbers are 73. She got a paper check. Mine is 93 and still nothing. I get an error message saying the stimulus payment status feature is unavailable. I owed taxes this year paid via direct debit out of my account so they do have my checking account information. I filed through turbo tax and paid the fee with a credit card.

Just checked the IRS website and it states that my check will be mailed out June 27, 2008. My last two are 65! I have a little hope now.

-70 just checked the website and today I got the message that I should be receiving my check around 6/27 for 1200.00.

Just another update to say that, like the others, I finally got a real response from the IRS website. Our number is 73, and our $1200 payment is scheduled to be issued on June 27th (which is the original date from the paper check schedule). I'm glad to finally have a tentative date.

Since we're the upper numbers, I don't think I'll see an update until next week or even the week after that. Our check isn't supposed to be sent out until the 11th of July according to the IRS Schedule.

My hubby's last two are 38 and it was supposed to be mailed out on the 6th..we got a letter last week saying how much is was going to be and we still dont have it! Im mad as hell. I have some bills we have to get paid!

I got my check in the mail on yesterday as well as the letter. The website said that my check would be mailed by June 13th.

Got second IRS letter on June 9th that said check would arrive by June 13th.

Received paper check on June 17th.

52, got my paper check today

57 - I got a letter last Monday saying I should get my paper check by 6/20. I didn't.

I'll bet you get your check today or tomorrow. The way the IRS phrased it has confused a lot of folks. The letter should have said it will be mailed on June 20.

Our payment hasn't been scheduled yet. But I'm curious to know who has gotten updates, I know quite a few folks on here had SSN's in the last batches of checks.
