Hi there, this seems like a stupid question. However, I am sending out my first letters to CRA using the template from Why Chats site. I did a search and came up emtied handed, I think it is an obscure question...

1. It states to insert the credit report #. I could not find the credit report # on any of my CR's. I printed from myfico. Is that going to be an issue if I do not provide that or I am just missing it.

2. Also, when sending certified, how do I provide the # before going to the post office? Pardon me, I have never sent certified before. Is ther pre-work I can do with that?

Thanks for taking the time. I just want to do this right.....

If you get your reports directly from each CRA, even on a "free report" there is an individual ID #.
The "3 in 1" or other 3rd party monitoring systems are next to worthless for credit repair.

Go to the PO and get a supply of the certified mail forms. Fill out the # on the letter and make a copy of the letter , ( be careful the first time you affix the certified mail sticker to the envelope, make sure the # shows on both sides). Keep a file for each CRA, staple the certified mail receipt to the copy of the letter. ( You can of course scan and keep a file in your computer)
