My husband applied and received this account. The people at the branch where he called were very nice.
http://www.peoplescashsolutions.comThis should help. This is not my website, and I am not an affiliate. Just trying to help.
Thanks

yes People's Cash solutions is on my list of banks and credit unions for anyone regardless of where you live. The only problem is that generally they are not local and apparently people complain that they have a long extended hold on any checks deposited

There a plenty of banks that will open accounts for you even if you are in Chexsystems. Just do a Google search for "non-Chexsystems banks" for your area and I'm sure several will come up. Worst case is you can't open a checking account with a Chexsystems-using bank for 5 years.

I found out information about Peoples Cash Solution and I applied for an account. I have banked with them for over a year and it is great! Its only a $25 deposit. and after the first 30 days, You can get a savings account with them for a $100 deposit

I also had success at U.S. Bank...just went in, told them up front that I had a Chex issue and they opened up a checking and savings account no problem. It's been a great bank so far.

There is a good chance that Suntrust will close your account within a week or so.

US Bank, Chase, and National City will all open open accounts even if you have Chex
At least they have for me (US Bank/Chase) or offered to (National City)

Possibly these banks made exceptions for you ..perhaps they did not mind what your report indicated.
Most people that apply for US bank either online or at a regular branch will be denied. There are some branches that will approve. Generally they are at the " in store" locations.
Chase has second chance checking and will deny most everyone on chexsystems other than for the second chace account that they offer.
National City uses chexsystems and will make exceptions at SOME branches depending on what the report indicates. My husband is an employee and they would not even give him an account due to chexsystems

i had good luck with wachovia and i'm very much in chexsystems.
Wachovia is known to make exceptions for those on chexsystems and will open account but lately people are telling me that they are getting accounts that are later closed due to chexsystems and EWS. Definitely something to consider

I was denied NASA Federal Credit Union today because of information in my Chex report. But I've had a SunTrust account for over a month now with no problems. I was able to get Bank of America about six months ago, along with INGDirect. I signed up for SunTrust just for the Our Checking Your Cause program so I could make sure that a local charity would get $100 of SunTrust's money (hey, free money!). SunTrust seems great so far, so if they cancel me then so be it. What I really want now is a good credit union.
a month is a good amount of time. I think you should be just fine. Where do you live?
