While not a great believer in prepaid debit cards (at least to the extent of replacing a traditional checking account), OP has produced a site with fees that seem to be quite reasonable in comparison to most of the prepaid debit card issuers. I am NOT making a recommendation for the site that OP has found but do point out that A LOT worse from the perspective of fees exist in other prepaid debit card issuers.

Personally I hate pre-paids but there are a few of them out there that are better than the others. Some people prefer them to regular checking

Prepaid cards have their place. They function well as a banking tool for judgment debtors wishing to remain "underground". They're difficult to find, and a judgment creditor would have to jump through a few hoops to attach one of them.
Having said that, if you're not in Chex, etc., and have no credit/legal issues, then prepaid cards serve little useful purpose.

I have one for my two kids - I put their allowance on the card and watch where they spend their money. no more cash.
I highly recommend it.
Thanks

I suppose a prepaid would work well for kids. Most folks here are looking for a primary means of banking, because of Chexsystems problems.
One big problem I've found with all prepaid cards, that differentiate them from regular bank accounts, is the inability to deposit third party checks.

I agree and most people want a traditional checking account where they can walk into a branch. Most people are also not so happy about the fees with pre-paids
