Initial disputes to a CRA should be formatted, ( handwritten or unscannable font on lined or watermarked paper) so that they MUST be handled by a REAL person, instead of automatically transmitted to an outsourced CSR or automatically "read" by the computer system and automatically "answered" without ever actually being seen by a human being.

If you send a CRA a CMRR it requires that it be signed for at the PO and it is then shunted to the department that deals with "legal" or CRO ( credit repair organization) disputes. This then does NOT fall under the time limits or rules of FACTA and may prevent an easy and quick deletion.

Everything else, including follow up disputes and all correspondence to any CA should be sent CMRR, ( except to SOME CA's or OC's where a certified mailing to a PO Box may get better results)
