I used the dispute process that MCA provides on her website and it worked!!
I had a $7.14 paid NSF in the Retail Section of my report that was 3 years old. I sent the first dispute letter CMRR on 2/5/08, it was delivered on 2/11/08. Yesterday 2/21/08 I received a letter from Chexsystem saying that they had reinvestigated and removed the item as well as an updated Chexsystem report that is now clean!!!
I am so happy!!!!

RE: Consumer ID # XXXXXXXX
Consumer Relations Dept.:
I have recently been informed that there is negative information reported in the file Chexsystems maintains under my Social Security number. Upon ordering a copy of the report, I see an entry in the Retail information listing a "Check" dated 09/XX/2005.
I am unaware of ever having a "Check" to this retailer.
Please validate this information listed in my report in regards to this check and provide me with copies of any documentation associated with this "Checkā bearing my signature. In the absence of any such documentation bearing my signature, I ask that this information be immediately deleted from the file you maintain under my Social Security number.
My contact information is as follows:

yes unfortunately I am serious, I have known quite a few people over the years that have said they were reported for less than a dollar.
