My wife is in the midst of cleaning up her credit report and as weird as it sounds, her BoEd SL has been deleted from her report, but we all know that doesn't go away.
She is currently a SAHM. If they decided to finally go after her, could they garnish my wages?
*She rehab'd her Sally Mae and they cleaned it up to show (PAA). BoED will not work with her, they want all or all.

i defaulted on my SL and eventually they got paid via our income tax return. we file married/jointly, but i don't have income so even though the income only came from my DH they still took it out.
we we're told we could contest it, but we decided to just let it be since it was paid, but we weren't expecting it to come out of our return until after we had filed, expected to get a check w/in a few days and it was taking a LOT longer to hear from IRS and get our money.
btw, our return was enough for the irs to take the whole amount due on SL and still have money left over but for whatever reason they left a $75 difference left to be paid so the same thing happened the next year, expected our return in 2-3 days but was delayed due to still oweing $75 on the SL--GO FIGURE!!!
