Hopefully, she grows out of it like most people do. I never did and it has caused me problems at times, especially when I was in the service. 
If I'm told 'no', I want to know why. Now, I try to be fair, and if I get anything even remotely resembling a logical answer, my reaction usually is "Oh, ok. That's cool". But, I'm not one to let "because I said so" go unchallenged.

Well, I wouldn't resort to that until about 5-8 minutes in

Well, at least my daughter doesn't "hide" at a wall. She at least hides under a blanket
The "Why" stage is hard because they seriously want to know why but are not developed enough to understand the answer.
