Hopefully, she grows out of it like most people do. I never did and it has caused me problems at times, especially when I was in the service.
If I'm told 'no', I want to know why. Now, I try to be fair, and if I get anything even remotely resembling a logical answer, my reaction usually is "Oh, ok. That's cool".
But, I'm not one to let "because I said so" go unchallenged.Well, I wouldn't resort to

ETA: I would normally try to turn it on her...So that my explanation would involve something she "likes" or "wants"...When she says "Why?" I respond, "I dunno. Why do you like/want it?" She sits there and thinks for a minute.
