Hi

A NJ man 78 YO. Never went past 8th grade. Never made more then $11.00 per hour in his life, had no inheritance.

Still by saving, investing, and purchasing realestate and living a frugal life style, no TV, no Telephone, never a new car, and shooping at second hand thrift stores. Gives $2 Million to a local college.

Interesting. google/ paul navone/ or go to www.pressofac.com for the complete story.

This guy is The true Millionaire Next Door.

for me, part of living is quality of life. this is defined differently by diferent people, but giving up certain things to leave more money to people when I am dead is not something I aim to do.

We will start to see a lot more of this as the baby boomers pass on. Lots of people like this all over the Country

I would guess for 99% of depression babies, quality of life is a lot different than our views today. The oldest boomers, maybe even pre-boomers, I'm not sure.

They refuse to borrow for anything and save everything.

I only want to pass some wealth on to my kids and live a comfortable life style when I retire, If I ever do.

The difference with me is, I want to pass wealth and be able to see my kids enjoy it. Maybe, buy my daughter a house when she gets married, or something similar. I don't want to pass it when I croak.
