When I started with you guys back in September I had a charge off from a corporate card for a company I no longer work for...my mistake in not taking care of business but honestly those charges were made on behalf of the company I worked for.

After spending time on this board I read about the Amex corporate card policy in which if it's paid it should be no longer reported on your credit report.

This corporate card was not amex but about a month ago I thought I would give this line of thinking a shot...I called the card issuer, they said "sorry your company wants it reported this way, you can speak to the card administrator at the company". I called card administation of my former employer, explained the situation, explained how it was affecting my credit, and told them that the card issuer clearly stated that my former employer WANTS this negative on my credit report - she was not happy to hear that the issuer told me that. Flash to multiple calls to both the card administator and the card issuer over the next month. This week I speak to a different supervisor from the card issuer... and I was told to redispute it, it will be removed.

Then he said, "I have other good news for you"...He stated that because of what happened with me, the company I used to work for in conjunction with the issuer is changing it's reporting policy to mirror the amex policy (i.e. if it's paid, it can and should be removed). This is only for the company I used to work for mind you however...

This company is squarely on both the forbes 500 and fortune magazine largest company lists, this company is in the top 3 media companies in the US and has over 125,000 current employees.

Because of you guys...the info I found on this board...and you guys allowing me to empower myself in the credit repair process, you just helped the CRs of current and former employees of this media giant to get a fair shot at getting an account removed that they were not fully responsible for to begin with!
