I am currently trying to get a student loan. I had a bankruptcy but it is only reported on Experian & Transunion so I need to figure out which student load companies only pull from Equifax (with whom my score is 682).
Can anyone help??

Have you exhausted all federal aid options first???

Jamba, avoid private student loans like Florida during hurricane season.
If fed/state loans aren't covering it (NJ I know offers state loans for students too), I'd recommend a cheaper school before private loans.

Bankruptcy isn't a big issue with student loans, especially if employed. I agree with staying away from private loans, if possible. They almost always have *really* high interest rates, and offer little protection for you as a borrower. But, to answer your question, chase and sallie mae both usually pull equifax. None, in my experience, always pull any one cra. Good luck in school!
