Full Version: Citibank pulls AR on Stafford Loan

I was wondering if this in non-pp. I've never had a late payment and the rate is fixed by federal law. What legal purpose could they possible have for AR. This is the only account I have ever had with them. I get two or 3 consolidation loan emails from them ever since. mad.gif

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. It's a soft pull, right? Sallie Mae has done the same thing to me a few times, but they've all been softs. And if never being late made ARs non-PP, I wouldn't have Amex poking around in my file 2 or 3 times a month rolleyes.gif

Nope, it is a permissible pull. You have credit with them.
