Can you get Federal Student Aid after you have filed Ch. 7?

I don't see what a BK would have to do w/Title IV student aid. Student Aid such as Pell Grants, Seog(sp?) and Subsidized Stafford Loans are based on need, status(dependent or independent) Class(soph, senior, etc) and not credit based, as are private loans.

I have 2BK on my CR and I get a pell grant and SL. My aunt filed Ch 7 twice in 10 years and is on her 2nd phase of Financial Aid as a sophomore.

Federally Guaranteed Student Loans, commonly called Stafford Loans, are not credit based. Having a bk would have absolutely zero effect on getting them.
