On Sunday we bought some stuff at Fashion Footware....used my debit card to pay for them...took the items back on Monday (didnt fit right) and they credited my debit card...long does it take so have the money show back up in your checking account?

It depends on how often the store processes credits. I've had it take up to a week.

Can take up to 7-10 busniess days, but it is normally credited back in 2-4. Hope this helps

hopefully the 2-4 one....there was only one other time it was done this way and it was credited right away

In my experience it's always been the same or next day. But it can take up to a week

Always been 3 days for me. But they tell you up to 30.

I haven't used debit in ages... however, I needed to get a deposit refunded on an apt 5 years ago... it took over 3 weeks blink.gif

SOMETIMES AS LONG AS 336 HOURS (14 DAYS)

I used to work at a software co., and when we had returns, it depended on when I ran it back through the credit card machine, honestly. I know that there were a couple of times that things sat in my box for several days -- I just overlooked them -- and the people called to find out why they didn't see their 2500. back on their credit cards. I haven't worked in a retail store, though, but maybe it's something similar. Maybe you could call if you don't see it on there soon?

Refunds onto debit cards can take anywhere from overnight to 30 days. My company doesn't refund to debit cards for that specific reason. If a purchase was done on a debit card the refund is done in cash.
