My husband and I are currently attending college and this is our first time applying for student loan I received a notice saying that I was guaranteed a loan. The only thing is my husband hasn't heard anything and I was wondering can you get a student loan with bad credit? We both applied at the same time so he should have heard something. He currently owes two banks that are closed accounts would that have an effect on there decision to give a loan?
