Full Version: Nelnet and Florida DOE Reporting the same loans
CreditBoards > Financing > Student Loans

I have successfully completed my rehab, and my loans have been picked up by my EdFin.

According to my rehab agreement, negative entries are supposed to come off within 90 days of completion. Yesterday was 90 days.

Both the state of FL and Nelnet are reporting the same loans.

Now, I know I have grounds to get the DOE entries off (signed agreements and whatnot). Will I also be able to get the Nelnet removed? How should I dispute them? As duplicates? Or am I just stuck?

Have you tried calling the state of Florida??? They are the only tradeline that will change with a rehab. Nelnet as your original lender/servicer will not change.
