Imagine you had $50k and you wanted to put it into some sort of savings/investment for retirement in 10-15 years or so. What would you do with it?

IRA?
High yield savings?
Mutual funds?
etc...?

Any ideas?

If you have any high interest debt pay that off first; can't beat that return. Then sock away the rest and whatever you save monthly from not having to service debt paid into good mutual funds.

The $50k is after paying off those pesky high interest debts....

I was thinking mutual funds too....

Any other suggestions?
