Each year that I have filed a FAFSA I am always picked for verification. The school always requests my tax return and W2's. I have talked with others who have never heard of this....


WEIRD!

It is simply a crap shoot.

I have been picked every time as well. I thought it was just because our income is pretty low.

I have to go back and make corrections to last years fafsa. My analyst said it is very likely that they will request verification on that one since I am removing income. Time to dig out my '05 return!
