I searched this board and didn't find what I thought would help me with this and I don't want to make a mistake.

I disputed with TU by sending them the pre-hippa. TU sent letter back stating that Verification not Available b/c they don't keep that on file. Here's the jist of the first letter:

We store info in our records as it is supplied to us by creditors. When info is disputed, we are required to investigate and record the current status of the info. We do not provide dispute verification responses received from creditors. If you need to obtain docs or written verification concerning your accounts, then please contact your creditors.

The second letter was General Policy on what they do when info is disputed. Then it says if you have used the services of a credit repair agency and are unhappy, blah, blah, blah here is the form you can use to complain about them.

Never used a repair agency.

So I guess I'm wondering if this is their way of saying that this dispute is verified?

That is standard TU stall letter(automated response). Wait out the 30+5 days or 45+5 days if you used free report. You should get the "real" results of the dispute.

Thanks. I know I've got a lot more reading to do! Now it's just the 30+5 days to wait.
