I just checked my Experian status on myfico and clicked on my US DEPT OF EDUCATION account and they're reporting Charge Off/Collection?Bankruptcy for the 2007 March. Under current status it says Claim filed with government for insured portion of balance on loan. I have never been late and am making all my payments on time. My balance is 1,099 what do i need to do to correct this???

EQ and TU both state pays account as agreed.

I believe I was but entered a rehab in November of 2005, have been paying on time monthly since then.

If you entered into rehab you had to be in default. Did you complete the rehab program?? Were you notified that your loan was being transfered??

I know that the inital default was through US dept of Ed and then i belive it was tranferd to Direct loans, i did recieve the letter and then begain the payment process with DL. Everything was swapped in November of 06 and my payments have been marking everymonth on both up until this month and only on EX.

Sounds like the US Dept of Ed old trade updated March 2007 with outdated database info for Experian only. I would think a phone call to experian would get the misinformation corrected.
